Sarah Cowell, 57, passed away February 22, 2017 at her residence. Formerly of New Jersey, she had resided in Iuka for 45 years. Sarah enjoyed camping, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, cooking and NASCAR.

Survivors include her sisters Amy Cowell Hildebrand and her husband Bill of Collierville TN, Cindy Cowell Hunnicut and husband Mark of Thomasville, NC, and Angie Tigner of Tishomingo, a host of nieces and nephews, her cat Chicken, and many special friends. Sarah was much loved and will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don Cowell and Nancy Burrell Cowell, her sister Beth Cowell Austin, and her brother Peter Cowell.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held March 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, MS. Friends and family are welcome to come and say farewell to this unique, special person.
