Jackie L Pruitt

Jackie Pruitt, age 79 passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He enjoyed reading his Bible and quoting Bible verses, working in his garden, car races, music, loved his family and spending time with them. He loved his mule Lila. He is survived by his wife, Zola Pruitt; sons, Andy Pruitt, Jeff Lovelace (Shirley) and James Lovelace (Lisa); sisters, Sarah Hudson (George) and Deborah Brooks (Edward); grandchildren, Megan Thigpen (Drew), Brandon Pruitt, Shawna Guthrie, Niall Trevino (Robin), Justin Lovelace (Elizabeth) and Mary Ann Cole (Jonothan); a host of great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Earline Long (Jimmy); brother-in-law, Ernie Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Pruitt and Eddie Mae Crowell Pruitt; sister, Karen Ryan.  Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Morris Hill Cemetery, Cherokee, AL beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Bro.
