Ricki Sanders

Ricki Harlan Sanders Sr., born on Friday, May 24, 1957, peacefully departed this world and his earthly struggles on Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Ricki is survived by his sons, Ricki Harlan Sanders Jr. and Ethan Sanders; daughter, Crystal Sanders; grandchildren, Arwen Jade Sanders, Destiny Kiana and Leia Aiden; a step daughter; brothers Chris and Robin; sisters, Susan, Sandy and Misty; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; his very best friend, Mike Walker. Ricki eased his way through life with a big heart, a quick wit and dry humor. He had a gypsy soul and not a worry in the world. He loved all things outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He faced many struggles in life, especially at the end, and his family and friends find comfort and peace knowing he is with our Heavenly Father, dancing around with his Mama, fishing with Pete, and loving on all the beagle puppies he can find. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Pete and Mai Hobbs and Edward Harlan Sanders; an infant brother. The family would like to personally thank the nurses on Station 3 at Tishomingo Living Center for the excellent care they provided and thank Gentiva Hospice for ensuring he was comfortable and in no pain. They would also like to extend their appreciation to his friends and extended family who have cared for him during his final days. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Misty Bearden’s home 557 CR 989 Iuka, MS.
