Emmett E. Caples

Emmett E. Caples was born November 29, 1928 in Drew, MS, he passed away at his home on December 23, 2019 at the age of 91 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Caples. Survived by his wife Syble M. Caples; six children,  Dana Brock, Brenda Blackwelder, Sherry Baker, Pam Pierski, Lisa Caples; one son, David Caples; two sisters, Maxine Manely, Barbara Sowell; two brothers, Dennis Caples and Jimmy Richard Caples; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three step daughters.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, beginning at 1:00 P.M. following will be Funeral Services beginning 3:00 P.M. at New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, the church where Emmett and Syble were married in 2006. Pastors Paul Childers and Vicki Landrum will be officiating.  Burial will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Collierville, TN.
