Martha Jane Vess

Martha Jane Vess passed into eternity Thursday, November 7, 2019 into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, who no doubt carried her home.  Jane was at home surrounded by her loved ones and everything she cherished. Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life and loving husband, Lee Roy Vess of Iuka; two adoring and devoted daughters, Kelly McKendree (Brian) and their two children, Evan and Ellie from Raleigh, NC; Kathy Grand and fiancée Tim Eilingen and Kathys two children, Kevin and Kyle and one great granddaughter Farrah Grant from Atlanta, GA; Janes Sisters, Freddie Turner of Millington, TN, Carolyn Brown, Susan Osborn, and Sister -in- Law Veneda Nichelson of Iuka, Ms.

Honorable mention of numerous Family and Friends … too many to mention.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Eula Nichelson of Iuka, MS; Brother Steven Nichelson also of Iuka, MS.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 08, 2019 at Apostolic Friendship Chapel in Iuka, MS beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Apostolic Friendship Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Sister Shirley Woodruff and Sister Carolyn Brown. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, MS.

Pallbearers:  Brian McKendree, Jason Brown, Evan McKendree, Carl Brown, Michael Osborn, and Mark Turner.
