Barbara Jane Shook

Barbara Jane Shook, age 79, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026. She loved teaching, sewing, crafts, shopping and playing cards. Barbara was a people pleaser and enjoyed helping others. She is survived by her children, Janette Morgan, Melody Senn (Billy), Todd Shook and Brandt Shook (Amy); grandchildren, Brett Morgan (Jesika), Sara Wilmeth (Dakota) and Madison Morgan; five great grandchildren; sister, Linda McCoy; niece, Sherry Mars Bradford (Monty); sisters by choice, Carolyn Brown (Richard), Linda Weaver and Gloria Stolsworth; She was preceded in death by her parents, O.E. and Stella Barrett; nephew, Ronnie McCoy; sister, Annette Mars; sister by choice, Judy Burns. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 3:00 p.m., with visitation prior beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Bro.
