Betty Seago

Betty Seago, age 77 passed away Friday, May 31, 2024. She is survived by her sons, Perry Lucy (Decole) and Jessie Seago; daughters, Marsha Butts (Chuck), Ruby Richardson, Julie Barr (Ben) and Tina Smith; brothers, Charles Gist and Virgil Gist (Marcell); nineteen grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Seago; father, Robert Gist; mother, Inez Patterson; step-father, James Patterson; brothers, Carl Wayne Gist and Robert Gist. Graveside services were held at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Iuka, MS on Sunday, June 2, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with James Crowell officiating. Pallbearers included Perry Lucy, Michael Wilson, Ruby Richardson, Ben Barr, David James Murdock and Nathan Lucy. Ludlam Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Betty Seago.
