Billie Louise Woodruff

Billie Louise Woodruff, age 70 passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 10, 2020. She was born on November 10, 1949 to the late Charles and Cortez Haney. She loved writing poetry, cooking, and baking, taking vacations with her boys and grandkids, knitting, watching movies, dancing, and making every member of the family feel like they were the only one in the room when they talked. Billie retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation, where she worked many years. She was survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Woodruff; three sons, Jamie Woodruff, Jason (Tawana) Woodruff, and Jarred (Ashley) Woodruff; grandchildren, BreAnna (Jake) Cayton, Jana Woodruff, Jay Woodruff, Gracie Renfro, Cody (Hannah) Woodruff, Rebecca Woodruff, Ethan Woodruff, Hunter Woodruff, Jaci Woodruff, Dawson Woodruff, Braxton Woodruff, Avery Browder, and Cameron Woodruff; great granddaughter, Arya Clayton; siblings, Robert Sappington, Frieda Simms, and Charlotte Hutcheson. Preceded in death by her father, William Sappington, brother, Scotty Sappinginton; sister, Cleda Ann Yarber.  There will be graveside service at Burgess Creek Cemetery Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. and the graveside will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Burgess Creek Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Gene Hanna. Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements.
