"Bo Bo" Gaines Obituary

“Bo Bo” James Earl Gaines, age 51, born September 15, 1973, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024. “Bo Bo” attended church at Chapel Hill. He was a jack of all trades working at most trucking businesses, also as a welder at Monotech and auto shops in Burnsville, MS. He never met a stranger.  He enjoyed being outdoors tinkering, canoeing, four-wheeler riding, hunting, fishing, rock hunting and metal detecting. He also loved being with his children, friends and family. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Gaines; children, Trinity Davis, Katlyn Dexter, Zoe Gaines, Jeremy Gaines, and Jaydon Gaines; mothers of his children, Tina Davis Williams, Frankie McAnally and Shannon Dexter; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, James Larry Gaines; sister, Tabitha Lynn Gaines. Visitation will be held Friday, September 20, 2024, at Strickland Church of Christ, Glen, MS beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Stickland Church of Christ beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Terry Smith and Bro. Scotty McCay. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, Burnsville, MS. Pallbearers include Anthony Kohliem, Nick Medley, Ty Shook, Haleigh Powers, Jaydon Gaines and Stevie Williams. Honorary pallbearers include Shandra Dalton, Candice Skelton, Andrea Daniel, Carissa Porter and Jessica “Nikki” Anderson.
