Brenda Turner

Brenda Turner, age 76 passed away Friday March 25, 2022.  She enjoyed and loved being a mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother.  She is survived by her four children, Karen Campbell, Steven Gallagher, Charles Gallagher (Jane) and Dawn Nutt (Gregory); her brother, Dennis Clay (Elizabeth); sister,  Gwyndolyn Johnson; Carlene Clay; numerous nieces and nephews,  grandchildren, Dustin Smith, Mandi Smith Flemons (Craig) and  Christopher Smith; Brandon Gallagher and Charley Gallagher; Jonathan Nutt, James Nutt (Maegan) and Joseph Nutt ; 7 great grandchildren Cooper Leggett, Grayson Flemons, Brooklyn Flemons, Cayden Smith, Kylee Smith, Nathanael Nutt and Katherine Nutt ;step-children Johnny Turner (Ginger) Cheryl Jordan (Lee), Randy Amsden; step- grandchildren, James Long (Chantel) ,Jessica Swindol (Tommy), Mack Long (Tara), Tyler Long (Ashleigh), Blake Jordan (Audrey), Blair Ferguison (Lewis), Devin Ham (Shayla) Kelsey Forlines (Jared) and Chloe Turner; step great grandchildren Caleb Long, Ethan Long, Anna Claire Swindol, Emily Swindol, Temperance Long, Elizabeth Long, Calvin Jordan, Lucas Ferguison, Lucy Kate Ferguison, and Darey Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband James “Jimmy” Turner;  brother Donald Clay son-in-law John Campbell; daughter-in-law Teresa Gallagher step-daughter Shelly Amsden.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at South Crossroads Baptist Church, 560 CR 127 Tishomingo, MS.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by funeral services beginning at 3:00 PM with Bro. Keith Lovelace officiating. Pallbearers will include Dustin Smith, Jonathan Nutt, Christopher Smith, James Nutt, Joseph Nutt, and Brandon Gallagher (all grandsons).  Interment will be in South Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
