Charlene Hand Johnson

Charlene Hand Johnson, age 82 went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 to know her was to love her. She was born in Jasper, AL. Charlene was the best momma and nanny, she loved her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, and nieces and nephews. She had a green thumb and loved the outdoors, sitting in her carport, listening to her Kudzu, her classic country, and also her gospel music. Some of her favorite things were talking about her travels with her sisters to Hawaii, New York, and Las Vegas, and watching her grandchildren play baseball. She was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. She also loved her extended church family at New Life Church of Iuka, MS. She was survived by her sons, Tim Johnson (Lisa), Jamie Johnson (Kelly), and Jimmy Johnson (Jackie); daughters, Kathy Johnson and Kelly Johnson Rorie (Randy); sister, Rheanelle Kennemore (Royce); grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Jerritt Goad (Linda), Jesse Johnson (Jennifer), Cierra Drinkard (Jason), Jordan Kay (Chase), Brandon Johnson (Lindsey), Clair Rorie, Jacinda Rorie, Minnie Rorie, and Matthew Presley Johnson; great grandchildren, Charleigh Drinkard, McKinlee Blake Drinkard, Layten Drinkard, and Jonah Johnson. She is preceded in death by husband, Hubert Johnson; mother, Annie Bell Callahan; sisters, Audrey Campbell, Edna Wallace, and Sonja Scott. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, MS beginning at noon until 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel. Bro.
