Christy Renea Wilkins

Christy Renea Wilkins, age 40 of Iuka, MS passed away suddenly at NMMC. She was born July 4, 1981, in Tupelo, MS to Billy and Barbara McCarty. Christy graduated from Mantachie High School at just 16. She Continued her education through out the years. Christy gave her life to the Lord at an early age and loved spreading the word of God. She worked various jobs over her life, but her dearest was being a wife and mother. Christy loved the outdoors camping and riding the four-wheeler with her family. She was always a helping hand that loved her family deeply. She had many talents but her love, patience, and teaching her daughter Brookelyn is the one she took most pride in. Survivors include her husband of eight in half years, David Allen Wilkins; daughter, Brookelyn Elizabeth McCarty; her father, Billy McCarty; one sister Diane McCarty; Nephew, Corey McCarty; niece, Sophia Mysia; cousin, who was more like a sister Leslie Pinson (Anthony) and her niece Anslea Pinson; special cousin, Tammy Bruce (Mark). Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Wheeler McCarty; brother, Jason “Bubba” McCarty. Visitation will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, at Iuka First United Pentecostal Church, Iuka, MS beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin following visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. William Lambert and Bro. Danny Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Fawn Grove Cemetery, Mantachie, MS. Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements.
