Delinda Lou Hamm, age 61 of Burnsville, MS passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. Delinda was a woman of strong faith who believed in the Lord and carried that faith with her throughout her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Dale Hamm; her two sons, Curtis Godsey and Timothy Godsey (Jessica); her cherished grandchildren, Jayden Vinson and Tyson Godsey; her sisters, Dorothy Plemons, Sharon Crane, Peggy Hudson (Jerry) and Sandra Smith; her brother, Darrell Carver (Carla); many beloved nieces and nephews, Richy Plemons (Jessica), Chris Wildmon (Chasity), Jessica Elrod (Andy), Courtney Williams (Austin), Blake Carver (Megan), Holley Maddox (T.J.0, Heathe Hudgins (Angela), Kandace Barnes (Frankie), Hayley Damm (Isaiah), Addison Smith, Braxton Smith, Daniel Hudson, Matthew Hudson (Jessica) and David Hudson; a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her.
Delinda was preceded in death by her mother, Bettie Johnson; father, Curtis Johnson; grandmother, Maggie Mock; brothers, Jacky Johnson and Donny Carver; brother-in-law, Ricky Crane; nephew, Dustin Smith.
Delinda will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength and the love she gave so freely to her family. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the faith she carried. Visitation will be April 1, 2026, at Ludlam Funeral Home, luka, MS beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation prior beginning at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Ed Kennedy will be officiating with interment at Shady Grove Cemetery, Burnsville, MS. Pallbearers include, Heathe, Daniel, Matt, David, Brian and T.J.
