On Saturday, June 13, 2020 we said goodbye to a special man, Donald “Don” Glenn Landrum, most affectionately known to many as Paw Paw. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Iuka Baptist Church, 105 West Eastport Street, Iuka, MS beginning at 10:00 a.m. until noon. Funeral Service will follow visitation, beginning at noon. Graveside Service will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, MS. Words that we would use to best describe him are… encouraging, even tempered, fun loving, a man of his word, who loved his family, church family and the outdoors. His home was always welcoming. He was quick with a laugh, jokes, a smile and always looking for an excuse to cook for someone and share recipes. He was a World War II Veteran, who served with honor in the U.S. Army Air Force. Though he will be sorely missed, we rest assured in the promise that we shall meet again. He was survived by one daughter, Derenda (Larry) Carr; one son, Don (Lynne) Landrum Jr.; three grandchildren, Todd (Elizabeth) Nelson, Dean (Heather) Nelson, and Donnell (Brett) Wyatt; eight great grandchildren, Adam Nelson, Abe Nelson, Gunner (Brianna) Ford, Garrett Nelson, Allie Nelson, Luke Nelson, Aubrie Trosclair and Colin Trosclair; one great great grandchild, Freya due in August; one brother, Ray Landrum; three sisters, Martha Holt, Barbara Johnson, and Wanda Burkes; Also, many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, wife, Nellie Mae Long Landrum; father, Alvin H. Landrum; mother, Arie Mae James Landrum; two brothers, H.W. Landrum and Larry W. Landrum.
