Donny Joe Murphy, age 54 passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Murphy; children, Shawn Murphy, Ethan Murphy, Hunter Hicks and Areye Anna Murphy; brother, Chuck Murphy(Lisha); nephew, Levi Murphy; nieces, Morgan Benefield, Samantha Carithers, Aylissa White and Maribeth Murphy; a special Aunt Ruth. He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe Murphy and Mary Lou Murphy; brother, William Robert Murphy; grandparents, Roberty and Jetty Bolton and William and Mertie Murphy. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel, Iuka, MS beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Franky Smith officiating. Prior to funeral service a visitation will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Asphalt Rock Cemetery, Cherokee, AL.
