Dortha Smith

Dortha Smith age 71 passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020. She was a faithful pastors wife and a member of Rowland Mills Missionary Baptist Church. She loved gardening, cooking, her animals, and helping others. She also was very fond of her great great niece Beka Claire Ray whom she nick named “Chubby Cheeks”. She was survived by her husband, Franky Smith; one sister, Ollie (Johnny) Vanderford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Calton; four brothers, Thomas Calton, Bill Calton, Robert Calton, and Junior Calton; two sisters, Lois Marie Rice and Mary Rebecca Calton. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sardis Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Iuka, MS. Pallbearers will be Gary Kenaum, Sanford Julen, Stephen Adams, Brian Ramsey, Tyler Adams, and Bobby Rice. Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements.
