Glenville "Glen" L. Cook, age 78 passed away peacefully at MRHC on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He enjoyed working on and restoring antique cars and tractors, doing yardwork, bee keeping, hamm radio, fishing and spending time with family. He was a 36 ½ year Veteran serving 20 years in U.S. Army and 16 ½ years in U.S. Airforce. He received a National Defense service metal, Vietnam Campaign metal with device and a Vietnam Service metal. Serving as a Military policeman, auto mechanic, and wheel vec machine mechanic. He was also a Mason and a Shriner. He is survived by his wife Judy G. Cook; daughter, Sandra Beavers; step-daughters, Melissa Copeland (Paul) and Teresa Richardson (Kenny); brothers, Donald Cook (Rita), Gene Cook (Julie), Fred Cook and Roger Cook; sister, Joyce Clark; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mansfield Cook and Lou Ann Null Cook; two daughters, Amanda Wood and Rebecca Wood; brothers, Thomas Cook, Bill Cook, Ted Cook and Melvin Frashier; one grandchild, William Wesley Beavers; one step-grandson, Robert Clinton Smith; one step great grandson, David Christian Smith. Visitation will be at County Line Baptist Church, Walnut MS Monday, December 4, 2023, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at County Line Baptist Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Trent Neatherly and Kenneth Richardson officiating. Interment will be in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joseph Tillman, Andrew Richardson, Jessie Beavers and Will Woods.
