Jackie Ray Waldrop

Jackie Ray Waldrop of Burnsville, MS, age 64, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025.  He was a third-degree Mason at Burnsville Lodge F&AM #233. The highlight of his life was being a proud Poppy to his grandchildren that he loved so much. He is survived by his wife, Synthia Waldrop; children, Jacklyn Waldrop, Robin Waldrop, John Paul Waldrop and Brandy Skinner (Lee); grandchildren, Chandler Thorne, Caleb Thorne, Jase Thorne, Jaxx Thorne, Cayden Waldrop (Haley), Caydeigh Waldrop, Saddi Waldrop, Dixie Waldrop, Rhett Waldrop, Brylee Thomas, Harper Skinner and Gatlin Skinner; great grandchild, Caysen Waldrop; brothers, Ronnie Waldrop (Renee) and Shon Waldrop (Glenda); sister in law, Renda Waldrop; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Glover; brother, Tony Waldrop; grandparents, Lee and Letha Aday; In-laws, Bobby and Patricia Culwell. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Grissom Chapel Church, Burnsville, MS beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Grissom Chapel Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Larry Marshall. Interment will be in Carpenter Cemetery. Pallbearers include Cayden Waldrop, Chandler Thorne, Rhett Waldrop, Caleb Thorne, Jase Thorne, and Jaxx Thorne.
