Jackson Vandiver, age 15 passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. He loved fishing, hunting, and was an Alabama fan. He gave sixteen precious gifts of life by organ donation and received a walk of honor at the Regional One Health Medical Center (The Med). He is survived by his father, Tyler Vandiver; mother, Amy Vandiver; grandparents, Becky Williams (Brian), Darryl Askew (Anita), and Alan Vandiver; great grandparents, Linda Holland (Danny), Brenda Holley (Larry), Lola Vandiver, and Bobbie Gail Williams; uncles, Ethan Vandiver (Amanda), Junior Cummings (Regina), David Askew (Tammy), Tim Holland (Theresa), and Randy Williams (Charlotte); aunts, Beth Smith (Jessie), and Sonya Hester (Greg). He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Becky Vandiver; Great grandparents, Charles Cummings, Clayton Montroy Askew, Clovis Vandiver, and Huey Williams. Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2021 at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, MS beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Hubbard Salem Cemetery, Iuka, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Jeff Haney and Bro. Shandy Dill. Pallbearers will be Wesley Wellington, Matthew Cummings, Toby Hollander, Matt Brumley, Chase Smith, and Bradley Sparks. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Academy and TCHS 9th grade class. Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements.
