James (Jim Bob) Patty

James (Jim Bob) Patty age 70 from Paden, MS passed away in his home surrounded by his wife and family on Sunday evening, March 18, 2018. He was born in Longview, TX and grew up in New Mexico, he then served his country in the Air Force for several years. Jim spent most of his life as a long distance truck driver. Later in life he met Jorja Kix in Nashville, TN and they married Feb. 29th 1996. They moved to Mississippi in 1997 and Jim continued his truck driving until he retired. They enjoyed traveling, camping and being park host at Piney Grove Campground. Left to cherish Jim’s memory is his wife, Jorja Patty, their children Yoland Kix (Tammy) of Centerville, TN, Holly Kix of Paden, MS, James Kix (Karyn) of Murfreesboro, TN, Karrol Barnes (Mark) of Tishomingo, MS.
