James Wayne Roberts, age 82 passed Monday, January 20, 2025. He enjoyed watching western movies and working on cars. He is survived by his sons, Matthew Scott Tigner, Joe Doyle (April), David Roberts, Chris Tigner, Johnny Doyle, Rodney Tigner and Eric Doyle; daughter, Tammy Epperson (Jamie); brother, Bob Roberts; sisters, Mary Carol Mckinsey, Patsy Dunn and Sherley Benicek; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Roberts; parents, Lewis and Lora Ellis Roberts; sister, Dorotha Anderson; grandson, Johnny Doyle. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, MS beginning at 10:00 a.m. until noon. Following the visitation will be the funeral service beginning at noon at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed. Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Rowland Mills Cemetery, Burnsville, MS.
