Obituary

James “Jim” Salvo, age 88 passed away Monday, May 30, 2022. Jim enjoyed gardening, watching old western movies, fishing, watching football, and listening to The Gaithers. He is survived by his brother- in-laws, Dennis Biggs (Mona) and Jerry Biggs; sister- in- laws, Cheryl Marsh (Glen), Bonnie Underwood (Jumbo), Gloria Biggs, Karen Biggs, and Rose Procter; 125 nieces, nephews, including great and great great. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Salvo; father, Carl Salvo; mother, Alba Salvo; sisters, Richie Patterson; and Earlene Seymour (Mike); brother- in- laws, Fred Biggs, Gene Biggs, and Keith Biggs. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, at First Free Will Baptist Church Iuka, MS beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, at First Free Will Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bro. Jamie Nanny. Interment will be in First Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dennis Biggs II, Greggory Biggs, Earl Seymour, James Davis, Rily Parker, Joey Smith, and Gary Littlejohn. Honorary pallbearers include Jim Russell and Todd Smith.
