James Randy Walker

James Randy Walker, age 64 passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was a lifelong Burnsville resident, former Alderman, and Christian who was well loved by all. He was a roofer by trade that enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. Randy loved his family, friends, and animals especially his dog Wonder.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Walker; sons, Jamie Walker (Amie) and Randall Walker (Katie); daughter, Melissa Hubbard; brother, Harold Dodson (Laurie); sister, Donna Mock; five grandchildren, Felicia Cate (Andrew), Kayla Walker, Matthew Walker, Makalyn Walker, and Olivia Walker; two great grandchildren, Bradley Cate and Blakely Cate; sister-in-law, Brenda Watson (Marty); numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Roy Walker and Bonnie Joe Horne; sisters, Teresa Garvin, Sarah Dodson, and Jo Ann Grimes; brother, Roger Walker. Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Chapel Hill Methodist Church, Burnsville, MS beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, May 2, 2022, at Chapel Hill Methodist Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro.
Scotty McCay officiating. Interment will in Chapel Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Billy Don Ham, Ricky Joe Johnson, Billy Don Ham Sr., J.R.
