Janet Eileen Walker, age 94 of Iuka, MS, formerly of West Milton Ohio, passed away on June 16, 2026. She was a graduate of Milton Union High School where she had lots of school spirit being a drum major. After graduation in 1949 she worked for Ohio Bell and then after that she started to work for her father as a bookkeeper at Norris Oldsmobile. Then she started her own business with her sister-in-law, Ann Kinsey, the little country schoolhouse restaurant and gift shop. She was also an active Eastern Star member. She always loved working with public so much. She loved to paint, sew and working in her yard. Also, she loved to entertain, dance and cook. She moved to Sarasota, FL with her husband Bob Walker and lived there many years and worked at a bridal shop till she retired. Bob and Janet loved dressing like Santa and Mrs. Claus in the community parades. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Russell W.M. Norris and Ruth Pauline Minnich; her first husband, Roger William Kinsey; her second husband, Robert E. Walker; sister, Mabel E. Norris; brother, Ronald Gene Norris. She is survived by her sister, Shirley A. Brush of Delaware, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be set at a later date.
