Jerry Wayne Barnes, age 66 passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024. He loved his family, grandbabies, enjoyed fishing and reminiscing about the old days. He is survived by his son, Jamie Barnes (Melissa); daughter, Tasha Murphy (Doug); brother, David Barnes (Denise); sisters, Shirley Kiddy (George), Kim Campbell, Debra Martin (Bo) and Rita Rutledge (Timmy); grandchildren, Brianna Morgan (Mason), Clayton Upchurch (Kaylee) and Carlie Barnes; great grandson, John Wallen Morgan; a host of nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Opal Barnes; sisters, Frances Blakney, Faye Baldwin, Elizabeth Lambert and Sue Gilbert. Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2024, at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, MS beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Gary Isbell will be officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell United Methodist Church, Farmington, MS.  Pallbearers include Clayton Upchurch, Nathan Gilbert, Michael Campbell, Doug Murphy, Shea Barnes and Donnie Lambert.
