Joey “Elroy” Dwayne Gray, age 63 passed away Monday, January 8, 2024. He enjoyed racing, fishing, hanging out with friends and family. He was an avid Ole Miss fan. Joey was a member of Shady Grove Church. He is survived by his brother Eugene Gray (Remonda) and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents James “Hob” and Christine Gray; sisters, Linda Lovelace and Lisa Lovelace; nephews, Kenny, Curtis and John. Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Ludlam Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed Kennedy will be officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Burnsville, MS. Pallbearers include Tom Davidson, C.J. Brown, Roy Wright, David Gray, Mike Lovelace and Jessie McDuffy.
