Lola Lane Vandiver, age 91, of Iuka, MS, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at her residence. Lola was a lifelong member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church and being a part of all church activities. She enjoyed playing the piano, traveling (especially to the mountains), reading, watching game shows, and doing word search puzzles. She was an extraordinary cook, and people would line up to have anything she prepared. She and her husband, Clovis, were the owners of Pioneer Machinery for many years. Lola will be remembered for the love and kindness that she always extended to everyone she met and how loved she made you feel. She is survived by one son, Alan Vandiver; one daughter, Beth Smith (Jessie); three grandsons, Tyler and Ethan Vandiver and Chase Smith, two granddaughters, Erin Hindmon and Gracey Smith; three great grandchildren; Emerie McCaiden and Braylen Vandiver; three nieces, Tracey Hall (Mike), Sherrie Moore and Kristi McGuff (Denny); two great nephews, Blake McGuff and Lee Winchester; one great niece, Camryn McGuff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Virgie (Morris) Whitehurst; her husband, of 51 years, Clovis “Tody” Vandiver; two sisters, Lila Lindsey Daniel (Lee) (Roy) and Linda Moore (Hilton); one brother, Clayton Whitehurst; sister-in-law, Maggie Whitehurst; one niece, Vickie Winchester; one daughter-in-law, Becky Calton Vandiver; one grandson, Jackson Vandiver. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Scott Webber and Bro. David Gregg. Interment will be in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Iuka, MS. Pallbearers include Wesley Webber, Levi Webber, Jeremiah Webber, Austin Rast, Michael Don Busby and Mark Odom. Ludlam Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Lola Lane Vandiver.
