Rebecca Ann Freeman(Becky), 69 of Burnsville, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at her home. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Burnsville. She was retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to sew, shop, and plant flowers. She was very devoted wife and mother. She was compassionate, endearing, and most of all strong. She was selfless, and her love was unconditional toward everyone she met along the way.
A private service will be held on Sunday, December 18,2022 at Center Hill Baptist Community Cemetery in Counce, TN by Brother James Newell. Pallbearers will include Larry Freeman, Tracy Gregory, Evan Akers, Robert Brewer, Ralph Brewer, Don Haber and honorary pallbearers, Brandon Burcham and John Gale. Ludlam Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements.
She is survived by her husband James Gary Freeman of Burnsville, MS; Two daughters, Tina Roberts Gregory (Tracy) of Burnsville, MS and Hayley Akers (Evan) of Burnsville, MS; One sister Dianne Wright (Frankie) of Iuka, MS; and two brothers Robert Brewer (Debra) of Burnsville, MS; Ralph Brewer of Portland, OR; one brother-in-law Larry Freeman of Burnsville, MS and a very special friend Don Haber of Portland, OR. Three grandchildren, Sean Gregory of Houlka, MS; Victoria Brigley of Tupelo, Ms; and Madison Gregory of Burnsville, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R.C. Brewer and Bennie Gamble Brewer; her grandparents W.L. and Lula Brewer; and Cecil and Lela Gamble.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
