Richard Dobbs

Richard Oryan Dobbs, age 72, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Iuka, Mississippi. He was born July 13, 1945. He was an esteemed United States Navy Veteran, previous Tishomingo County Sheriff, and life member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He was a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Beckey Dobbs, his two stepsons, Glenn and Keith Adcock, his granddaughter, Abby Adcock, all of Iuka, two sisters, two brothers, and  many nieces and nephews. He was a kind and witty person, a hard worker, and a dedicated and loving husband. Services will be held at Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, Mississippi on Saturday, March 31. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. and a funeral service will be directly after, at 3 p.m.  Burial will Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, MS.
