Robert Michael Pittman, age 43, of Iuka, MS passed away on July 6, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Michael was a gifted mechanic with a heart as strong as the engines he worked on. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. Nothing brought him more joy than laughing and playing with his nieces and nephews, who adored their Uncle Bob. He will be remembered for his steady hands, his kind heart, and the quiet strength he carried through life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma Ray Pittman and John and Alice Highland who now welcome him home. Michael is survived by his loving wife, DeAnna Pittman; his beloved son, James Ray Pittman; his parents, Gary and June Kay and Robert and Marie Pittman; his sister, Danielle Smith (Edward) and their son, Tucker; his two brothers, Jimmy Pittman and his sons, River and Laken, and Chase Kay (Jordan). He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched deeply. Funeral services will be held at Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, MS Wednesday, July 9, 2025, beginning at 8:00 p.m. with visitation prior beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Chris Webb and Bro. Jackie Pittman officiating. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in memories we shared and the love he left behind. Michael’s legacy will live on in every story told, every laugh shared and every quiet moment in the woods. Ludlam Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Robert Michael Pittman.
