Robert Clinton Smith, age 29 passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. He enjoyed basketball, fishing, cornhole, board games, and loved the church youth. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, where he served as youth leader. He is survived by his wife, Rachael Smith; son, Robert Braydon Smith; mother, Teresa Richardson (Kenny); father, Tommy Richardson (Tammy); grandmother, Judy Hudson Cook (Glenn); two brothers, Thomas Andrew Richardson (Mariah), and Tyler Smith(Ginny); two sisters, Christina Smith, and Jessica Sewell (Lonnie); father-in-law, Robert Brockett; mother-in-law; Gina Jourdan Enos; sister-in-laws and brother- in- laws; Ashley Smith (Dalton), Nicholas Brockett, Elizabeth Brockett, and Jessica Brockett. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Smith; son, David Christian Smith; grandparents, Roy and Marcell Smith; grandfather, Donald Hudson. Visitation will be held at New Prospect Baptist Church Tuesday, August 24, 2021, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held privately. Officiating will be Bro. Sean Glidewell, and Bro. Seth Kennedy. Burial will be in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Hamm, Stephen Youngblood, Edgar Osario,Caleb Ervin, Alex Whitfield, Ryan Taylor, Jeremy Thorne, and Maverick Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Toth, Andrew Richardson, Nicholas Brockett, Dalton Smith, Shelby Lowery, Travarus Wheat, Skyler Ray and Cody Hudson.
