Tonya Fern Allred

Tonya Fern Allred, 53, born and raised in the town of Iuka, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Monday, February 21st, 2022. She was a very talented, decorative, creative and intelligent individual. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cross-word puzzles, playing games on her phone and spending time with people that she loved and those who brought joy to her life. She was a wonderful mother, who loved her children more than life. She enjoyed sitting outside of her home, watching nature and found peace and happiness in the simple, smaller things in life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her great-nephew, Jagger Howard and grandson Brandtly Moore.

She is survived by her children Caleb (Janna) Allred, Paige Allred and Peyton Morgan; mother, Joyce Simpson; two sisters, Kimberly (Willie) Cross and Dorrie Gregory; one grandson Brandtly Moore and another grandson, Walker Allred, whom was not born until Tuesday, 2-22-2022. Tonya also had numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy “Cal” Franks; grandmother, Gladys Mae Potts; sister Darla Diepstra; stepfather, Lawrence Simpson; aunt, Wanda Moxley; granddaughter, Adalyn Moore and close friend Lisa “Cherry” Rathai.

Her children would like to invite anyone who knew and loved Tonya to her “Celebration of life” on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, MS beginning at 3:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to service.
