Vance Houston Watson, age 81, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Mable Lucille Watson; sons, Vance E. Watson, David H. Watson and Daniel H. Watson; daughter, Catherine Brown; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Dyess Watson; father, Joe Wheeler Watson; mother, Rose Lee Gipson Watson. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Ludlam Funeral Home beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop D.E. Carter. Interment will be in Last Day Word of God Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Pallbearers include Emilio Perez, Daniel J. Watson, Brandon Watson, Jonathan Watson, Tony Barns, Jessie Jackson, James A.
