Wade Lamar Newcomb Sr., age 66 passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. He loved his family, friends and enjoyed watching Nascar. He is survived by his wife, friend, and mother of his children, Tammy Hancock; one son, Wade Newcomb Jr.; two daughters, Elizabeth Johnson (William) and Miranda Ligon; five brothers, Harvey Newcomb (Francis); Dee Newcomb, Jackie Newcomb (Brenda), Jerry Newcomb (Dorothy), and Charlie McKinney (Carla); one sister, Melissa Farr (Robert); grandchildren, Chloe Holloway, Brian Holloway, Jackson Holloway, Mckinley Duncan, Matty Duncan, Estella Johnson, Huston Ligon, Codie Newcomb, Jeremy Short, Hunter Newcomb, Austin Short, and Justin Short; great grandchildren, Braelyn Newcomb and Kylee Fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Douglas Newcomb and Nora Lee Cooksey; son, Jonathan Newcomb; three sisters, Wilma Wilkerson, Shirley Brown, and Valerie Meyerding; son-in-law, Terry Ligon. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Agape Generation Church, Burnsville, MS beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Agape Generation Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation prior to service beginning at 8:00 a.m. until funeral time. Officiating will be Bro. Scotty McCay and Bro. Tony Blakney with burial in Antioch Cemetery, Burnsville, MS. Pallbearers include Buck Newcomb, Michael Newcomb, Wade Newcomb Jr., Robert Farr, Brian Johnson, Huston Ligon, and Matty Duncan. Honorary pallbearers include Codie Newcomb, Charlie McKinney, David Meeks, Zack Meeks, Ricky Dotson, Brian Holloway, and Vance Watson.
