Wayne Phifer, age 68 passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He enjoyed crappie fishing, loafing with friends, and golfing. He is survived by two sons, Chris Phifer (Jana) and Kevin Robinette (Shannon); two daughters, Melody Pruitt and Erica Phifer; one sister, Emily Hobbs (Talmadge); grandchildren, Paige Greene (Jonathan), Landon Moore, Savanah Pruitt, Mckeeleon Pruitt, Meia Phifer, Cade Phifer, Chanler Deshazier, Levi Deshazier, Eli Deshazier, Caroline Robinette, Chance Robinette, Alyssa Steele, Madison Borden, and Jake Borden; great grandchildren, Layla Miller, Harper George, Myla-Rose Wingo, Carson Wingo, and Avery Borden; a host of nieces and nephews; best friend, John David Murphy. He was preceded in death by parents, Ozean and Lula Phifer; one brother, Jimmy Phifer; one sister, Bonita “Sissy” Alder; one daughter, Holly Michelle Allen Borden; two nieces, Frankie Tigner and Tammy Phifer. Visitation will be Thursday July 1, 2021 at Ludlam Funeral Home beginning at 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday July 2, 2021 at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Jerry Bonds, Jimmy Smith, Pejo Arnold, and Jeff Phifer.
